Chris M., a grateful member of AI-Anon and Alcoholics Anonymous, created this site to share his recovery journey and the creative output that has accompanied his involvement in 12-Step programs.
Chris has written 12 original songs that align with the steps of recovery and performs these songs at recovery events (meetings, conferences, etc.). Chris performs these songs as a means of celebrating the gift of recovery.
In addition to performing his step songs (his “Musical Lead”), Chris loves to give traditional leads. He is happy to send a sample lead that you can listen to. His email and phone number can be found on the Contact Chris page.
Chris is working on a series of illustrated recovery books. "Because We're Worth It", is a collection of original program acronyms and was published in 2024. The second book, "God, Help Me", came off the presses in 2025.
There is no charge for the available items, although shipping and handling is added during checkout. However, anyone unable to cover the shipping costs can contact Chris directly (see the Contact Chris page) and he will make sure a book goes out completely free of charge. As part of the checkout process, you have the option to make a donation to offset item production costs. This is completely voluntary.
